FUFA names standing committees January 12

FUFA will have its first executive meeting that will name the new federation’s standing committees on January 12 at Nakulabye, reports Norman Katende.FUFA general secretary Haruna Mawanda announced this at a press conference at Lugogo.The committees to be named include for the national league, marketing and sponsorship, referees, technical, youth and women.The meeting will also discuss a way forward for the federation.“This is our first executive meeting. We are going to forge a programme that will stand the test of time,” said FUFA president Dennis Obua.In another development, the final leg of the sh22m Hedex cup final between Express and Military has been set for the same date at Nakivubo. The first leg ended in a 1-all draw.Military is required to assemble a team despite loosing most of their players after being relegated from the Super League.
