THE Rwanda Police have requested the Uganda Police to handover Patrick Busulwa, a Ugandan suspected of having stolen a motor vehicle from Kigali.

By Maurice OkoreTHE Rwanda Police have requested the Uganda Police to handover Patrick Busulwa, a Ugandan suspected of having stolen a motor vehicle from Kigali.Busulwa, 26, a Kampala businessman, allegedly stole a Toyota Hilux pick-up truck registration number RR21 49A belonging to Electrogas company of Rwanda.a letter addressed to the Criminal Investigations Department which The New Vision saw said Rwanda wanted the suspect and the vehicle to be handed over in a ceremony at Katuna boarder post on January 18.The letter read, “we want Busulwa to stand trial and help us in locating another suspect Jackson Rugamba, a former transport officer of Electrogas, who is believed to have conspired with him to steal the vehicle.”However, Busulwa was yesterday arrested and charged with theft of the said vehicle and a Mitsubishi Pajero from Mubaraka Najima of Arusha, Tanzania between October and December last year.Musa Waira, 26, and Iddi Sebagala, 29, of Pallisa and Sironko respectively were jointly charged with him before the Buganda Road magistrate, Duncan Gaswaga.They denied the charges and were remanded to Luzira Prison until January 17.Ends
