Express FC has come all out to buy off defender Richard Malinga’s contract with KCC FC if they fail to refund their money.

By Robert Bukenya Express FC has come all out to buy off defender Richard Malinga’s contract with KCC FC if they fail to refund their money.Malinga has been in the center of controversy ever since he picked forms during the player’s transfer period intending to cross to rival Express. The rules however denied him a chance to cross due to a contract biding him to KCC FC.Express’s Chairman Godfrey Kirumira, yesterday rubbished rumours that Express did not actually pay Malinga the sh3m, but it was a monkey trick to con KCC of the money and share it with the player.“I have concrete evidence including the vouchers, were Malinga signed to take the 3m as a contract to play for us, KCC should either refund our money or we take the player” said Kirumira.He added “KCC managed to release Said Abed to SC Villa, who had played for one year and also had a contract, why don’t they release Malinga to us since he has played for them for two years.”KCC’s team manager Badru Kiggwe said, “In the VEK spirit Express should forget about Malinga, because we are going to pay them their money.”Kigwe also rubbished rumours, that Malinga gave the money to KCC officials, yet no body in KCC received Malinga’s money.Malinga has started training and his ready to play in the VEK tournament.A KCC strong supporter told this reporter that, Malinga is playing monkey tricks with Express.
