Mbale children to get scholarships

By Milton Olupot A UGANDAN living in the US John Wanda, has launched a scholarship project to benefit children in Bumwalukani village, Bulucheke sub-county, Mbale district.He said the project will receive sh10m this year from funds he raised in the US. Wanda who is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at the American Chiropractic Association in Arlington VA said, “The village has four primary schools and the first five children in each class from P4 through P7 will receive sh60,000 per year.”
