KALANGALA – The district council chairman, Daniel Kikoola, has said the district has purchased toxic drugs to be used for poisoning the overwhelming number of monkeys. Kikoola said on Tuesday that the resolution to poison monkeys in Kalangala was passed because the initial strategy to kill them using hunting rifles flopped. He said the monkeys had become destructive to crops.
