Hospital’s account for deaths

By Kikonyogo NgatyaEach life lost in Ugandan hospitals will now have a health audit report showing the cause of death, Mike Mukula, the State Minister for Health has disclosed.A copy of the report will be given to the family of the deceased, ministry of health and other departments.“Over 80% of the treatment work is left to junior nurses. Many lives are lost because doctors shun duty,” Mukula said in an interview. Independent observers on how the reports would be made is to be established.ends
