Street kids get donation

By Catherine NtabaddeLITTLE Sisters of St. Francis, a street children’s rehabilitation centre, on Tuesday received a donation of sh1,128,327 and food stuffs from Shanghai Hotel and Restaurant.The centre, which accommodates 67 children also received Shanghai T-shirts and ivory plates from the hotel’s director Mei Yuan Yu Lin. The function took place at the home in Nsambya, where the children expressed their appreciation by clapping hands and singing for the donors. Present at the function was the co-director of Shanghai, Jeff Lin and National Council for Children chairman the Rev. Fr. Louis Turyamureba.
