Wapakhabulo hails new Mbale LC5 boss

The Third Deputy premier, Mr. James Wapakhabulo, has congratulated the newly elected Mbale LC5 chairman, Mr. Bernard Mujasi Masaba, upon his victory.

By Nathan EtenguThe Third Deputy premier, Mr. James Wapakhabulo, has congratulated the newly elected Mbale LC5 chairman, Mr. Bernard Mujasi Masaba, upon his victory.He said the people of Mbale municipality and the district in general should now look to the future by focusing on the opportunities that would contribute towards the development of the area.“I wish to personally congratulate the new LC 5 chairman,” Wapakhabulo said in a speech read for him during the opening of the Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC), Mbale branch on Saturday.The ceremony was presided over by state minister for primary healthcare, Dr. Beatrice Wabudeya.Wabudeya read Wapakhabulo’s congratulatory message as a procession of Mujasi’s supporters moved past Mbale town dispensary where the JCRC has established a branch.“I believe the procession I am seeing is the one for the candidate who has won,” Wabudeya said as she began reading Wapakhabulo’s message.The message was ironically faxed to Mbale on Friday, a day before the final results for the LC5 chairmanship election was declared.
