By William Muwonge SC Villa coach Micho Sredojevich conducted his first local training session loaded with goal scoring drills. The Yugoslav had worked with the team at the recent CECAFA Club championship in Zanzibar. He then trained the team before its Africa Champions League 2-1 defeat against Sudanese side El Merreikh in Khartoum last Saturday. Sredojevich, signed by the league champions last month, said he will put more effort at polishing the striking department. “The players shoot at goal but do not score, they need to concentrate a little more upfront,” Sredojevich said. Sredojevich’s observation arises from the Villa’s less than average shooting abilities at the Zanzibar competition. The Yugoslav, flanked by his assistant Moses Basena, said players use a lot of energy looking for the ball but do not keep possession for long. Sredojevich said his mission is to transform Villa into a formidable side. “I have come here to pass on my experience from Europe,” Sredojevich said.ends
