Kyenjojo, Kamwenge Get 21 Cycles

Kyenjojo, Kamwenge and Kabarole districts have received 21 motorcycles each to facilitate the work of sub-county chiefs, reports Emmanuel Mulondo.The motor-cycles are part of capacity building for the district development programmes.Steven Kasangaki, the project coordinator in the three districts, said the cycles would help improve performance by the sub-county chiefs. “We shall expect improved monitoring of revenue collection and execution of government projects,” Kasangaki told The New Vision.Samuel Kaija, who coordinates the project in Kyenjojo, said revenue collection was also expected to rise.Ends
