Nekusa to navigate Muhangi at Safari rally

BY DOUGLAS MAZUNEFRANK Nekusa will navigate former Africa Rally Champion Charles Muhangi in the Kenya Safari rally in July.Muhangi, the first Ugandan to confirm participation in the WRC event, revealed his change of co-driver at a press briefing in his office yesterday.“I wanted an experienced navigator who has been to the Safari rally. Nekusa can handle papers well as I deal with the machine.”Nekusa has thrice been to the Safari with Karim Hirji, one of the respected privateers who finished an impressive seventh in 1995.An upbeat Muhangi amused journalists when he asked them to choose for him which of his Subaru Impreza cars he should drive. “I have given you a chance to choose for me, can you please suggest. Should I use the Ekitaguriiro or the WRC?” a beaming Muhangi added.ends
