By James BakamaEXPRESS striker Toto Songe narrowly escaped death last week after he was beaten up by thugs.The attack at Nakivubo on Wednesday left Songe with two fractures on his lower jaw.Club doctor Ronald Kisolo said Songe, who has been undergoing treatment at Mulago, will be operated in the same hospital.The injury will lock the left winger out of the Red Eagles next match. Express take on Arua Garage on Tuesday at Nakivubo.Songe’s plight is almost similar to that of England and Leeds player Jonathan Woodgate. The defender will miss the World Cup after having his jaw broken. He was punched as he tried to separate fighting fans.ends
