SC Villa-Express for UOC gala

By Norman Katende ARCH-rivals SC Villa and Express will be the main attraction in the first Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) fundraising gala for the Uganda team to the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in July.UOC, together with the sports ministry are looking for sh400m to enable the team travel for the games and their first fundraising event will take place at Nakivubo April 28.UOC gala coordinator Salim Musoke revealed yesterday after a meeting that the two clubs will clash at Nakivubo with the winner walking away with prize money and a trophy.“I am going to meet both clubs on Friday and we will decide on other details,” said Musoke. “This is going to be the first of many fundraising events that we are going to organise to enable the team travel for the games.” ends
