KAMPALA — The works ministry is to decongest the city by creating satellite taxi parks in the suburbs. Works minister John Nasasira told Parliament yesterday that he had asked KCC to provide land on the outskirts of Kampala for these vehicles so that they do not enter the city. Nasasira, who was appearing before the committee on public service and local government currently probing KCC, said buses would be used for public transport within the city. “We must get mini-buses out of the city,” he said.Ends
