THE Masaka deputy Resident District Commissioner on Sunday blasted parents and guardians of AIDS orphans who reject aid from the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA), saying their children would be converted, reports Eddie Ssejjoba.

THE Masaka deputy Resident District Commissioner on Sunday blasted parents and guardians of AIDS orphans who reject aid from the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA), saying their children would be converted, reports Eddie Ssejjoba. Teopista Lule Ssenkungu was speaking at a hand-over of relief assistance worth US$6,000 to AIDS orphans at the SDA church in Masaka. The relief items that included 40 bales of used clothes, 80 bags of rice, 350 blankets, 10 bags of maize flour and 25 sacks of beans, were donated by the Swedish government through the Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA), an SDA church development agency.Senkungu said epidemics like AIDS do not segregate on religious, tribal or political basis.
