SIR— Your story “Ngime’s supporters celebrate” on Wednesday, page 2, quoted me as saying that I would have been made a minister if I had won the parliamentary election. Being a minister is a very good thing; but I have never aspired to be one. What I said was that had I won the election, most probably some top resident of Mbarara would have become a minister. I am happy with what I have been doing as a mass mobiliser and I am now — a presidential assistant. Ngoma Ngime, Kampala
