It was not a good weekend last week for Kampala based scribes who were attending a media workshop in Soroti. As part of their extra curricula activities, the scribes went out in search of the girls from the local college. Apparently, the scribes who included Paul Kavuma of Monitor FM, Media Plus Patrick Alione and UTV's Henry Baguma impressed the girls by ordering beers instead of the cheap ajono. This did not go down well with the local boys who switched off the power and ran the scribes out of campus while hurling stones at them. Not giving up, the trio sought refuge in the small village of Eneku and preyed on the girls who had come up to watch the opening of the World Cup.
