UGANDA has been placed 150th out of 173 countries in the global human development ranking by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

By Charles WendoUGANDA has been placed 150th out of 173 countries in the global human development ranking by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).The “Human Development Report 2002,” under the theme, “Deepening Democracy in a Fragmented World,” was released worldwide yesterday.The ranking implies that Uganda has the 24th poorest quality of human life.The report is based on standards of living, life longevity and knowledge.Last year Uganda was 141st out of 162 countries.Ends
