Which Gal Will Take The Miss Uganda Crown?

It is now one day to go and the long search for Miss Uganda 2002 will be over. Twenty one girls will on this Saturday strut the cat walk at Munyonyo in front of the public, cameras and most importantly the judges. At the end of it all, the judges will deliver their verdict and one lucky girl, the best of them all will be crowned Miss Uganda 2002.The search for the fairest girl in the country kicked off in April and covered Uganda’s four regions from where the best girls were picked to contest in the finals. For the last two and a half weeks, the girls have been undergoing vigorous residential training in Munyonyo for the final do. They have watched movies of previous Miss World contests to name but a few. They have undergone physical fitness stints, learnt how to express themselves with confidence to the public and have also learnt the art of walking gracefully.On a leisure note, the contestants also have cruised in speed boats to Bulago island for adventurous photo and filming sessions. The filming sessions also spread to Bujagali Falls where the girls enjoyed white water rafting. The images captured in the two places will be shown on giant screens at Munyonyo during the contest on Saturday.Ends
