Security personnel in Kabarole district have recovered textiles that were robbed from Congolese traders at gunpoint in Kyenjojo recently, writes Vision Reporter.A joint Police and military force recovered the items from Jamil Rwakatooke’s home in Kadindimo, in Rutete sub-county.The district police commander, Francis Tumushabe, said the textiles, worth millions of shillings, were recovered after a tip off from the locals.Rwakatooke, suspected to be a notorious robber, fled on seeing security personnel. Tumushabe told The New Vision that an automatic vehicle Toyota Corona registration number UAD 094, thought to have been used in the robbery, was recovered with the vehicle.Ends
