A Kenyan aircraft leasing company, African Commuter Services Limited, has petitioned the High Court, seeking to declare Kassanda South Constituency MP John Patrick Kabayo bankrupt.Hillary Nsambu reports that Kabayo allegedly failed to pay US$55,900 (sh100.6m)_for leasing an aircraft.When the bankruptcy petition came up for hearing in court yesterday, the Commercial Division Deputy Registrar, Mr Precious Ngabirano, deferred it to September 9 because Justice Richard Okumu-Wengi, who is to preside over the case, was away.African Commuter Services, through Musika, Mugisha and Company Advocates, successfully sued Kabayo who was ordered to pay the money, costs of the suit and 25% interest per annum.Ends
