THE KKL U-13 team will enjoy royal treatment when they travel tomorrow as guests to the King of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru to play a game against Tooro Kingdom’s U-13 team.
The football game is part of the celebrations to mark the seventh anniversary of the coronation of the king. The event will help raise funds to enable the kingdom to set up their own Kids league. KKL will display the trophies of their victory to the people of Fort Portal.
KKL commissioner, Trevor Dudley says that he is pleased that the KKL team is able to contribute towards development of grass root sports development in Uganda.
“We do hope that this league takes off in Kabarole district and that talented kids from Fort Portal in future will be able to join the KKL team for overseas tournaments.”
Meanwhile, over 300 boys and girls have registered for the KKL basketball season that gets underway in four weeks time.
