The KKL Boys U-13 team that won the Gothia and Tivoli Cups earlier this year travelled to Fort Portal over the weekend to compete in the King Oyo Coronation Anniversary Challenge Trophy.

In front of King Oyo, the royal family and kingdom ministers, the KKL U-13 team beat the Tooro Kingdom select side 2-1.

The game opened at a fast pace and the KKL team entertained the large crowd with their precise passing and dribbling skills.

It was Tooro Kingdom who took the lead in the tenth minute when goalie Ochan blocked a fierce drive but Ahmed Assimwe pounced on the rebound.

KKL gradually turned on the pressure and were rewarded in the 35th minute and another with five minutes to go.
