These were President Yoweri Museveni’s words during an interview with Radio France International (RFI) aired on Thursday, reports Anne Mugisa.
Museveni was responding to questions of whether he would relinquish power in 2006 after 20 years in power.
He also said in the interview recorded in July that he was confident Uganda would continue to grow after the decline of the 1970s and early 1980s.
Museveni said Uganda would grow from a pre-industrial country to an industrial country and contribute to a United Africa.
He lashed out at critics of graft, saying they had failed to offer solutions to the covert crime.
