BUSHENYI resident district commissioner Bamusede Bwambale, has attacked district officials whom he said were frustrating government programmes.
Bwambale was speaking during the Independence Day celebrations at Karungu sub-county headquaters in Buhweju county on Wednesday.
He said when the cadres wanted to plant trees in Ishaka town council, Bushenyi, the assistant town clerk, Katunda Mukuru, locked the tools in the store and hid the keys.
He said during the last immunisation exercise, parish chiefs, LCs and town clerks decampaigned the programme.
“There are people called parish chiefs, LCS and town clerks who are frustrating government programmes,” he said.
He said plans were underway to wipe out such officials.
