Car robber shot dead

KAMPALA — Another thug has been fished out of a pool of rampaging city gangsters. Security operatives on Tuesday shot dead one of the most wanted car robbers, Young Byekwaso Ndaula, after a gun-battle at Kiwatule, near Ntinda. David Magara, the acting Operation Wembley commander, said yesterday that the security operatives who burst into Ndaula’s rented house were met by a volley of gunfire as the suspect resisted arrest. Two other gunmen were killed on Saturday in Lungujja, another city suburb.
