Moses Musonge, a former national sprinter in 1990 (at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New zealand), who is famous for freezing in the tracks when he saw Carl Lewis warming up, is set to walk down the aisle this weekend with long term beau Stella Mirembe. The two will exchange their vows at All Saints Church, Nakasero this weekend and will host their guests to an exclusive invite-only reception party at Faze 11 in Nakasero. Stanbic Bank’s Joel Otim also a former athlete will be Musonge’s best man while VR Promotion’s Peter Odeke and Viper Models’ Bonny Akruju will be among the grooms men. Davis Kamoga and a few UK athletes who will fly in specially for the occasion are only a few of the prominent sports personalities expected to grace the occasion……


The most deluxe wedding of the month will probably be that of businessman Moses Kayondo, who is set to walk down the aisle his longtime fiance Shamim, formerly a model in the UK. Snoops say the wedding budget is a staggering sh90m! Meetings have been held at Hotel Africana under the chair of tycoon Hassan Bassajjabalaba and from what we hear there have been individual pledges made in excess of sh10m under titles like “Mr and Mrs Anonymous.” The Kasiki (stag party) will be held at the lavish Kabira Country Club in Bukoto on December 13, while the grand reception will be at Speke Resort, Munyonyo the next day…..



Kibanda County Member of Parliament Owor Amooti Otada (right) until recently known more in social circles for his flamboyant lifestyle and sleek BMW acquired only recently is set to jump the broom today. Otada, proprietor of Otada Bus Company will marry Esther Akullu, an administrator with the same whom he has been dating for a while. The occasion whose budget snoops say exceeds the sh30m mark set out with a stag party on Wednesday night at the Viper Room which was dominated by MPs. The couple will exchange vows at All Saints Cathedral and later host their guests to an open reception at Speke Resort, Munyonyo……
