BUSOGA People’s Forum has denied allegations made against the recently launched people’s charter.
Interim committee members led by the deputy speaker of parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, recently condemned former Iganga district chairman, George Patrick Bageya, for attempting to mislead the public about the purpose of Busoga People’s Forum.
“Let him take his views alone and let the people of Busoga decide for themselves. This is a united effort by the local governments and the politicians to foster development. Why should he make statements claiming that I and the Vice president are seeking individual interests?†Kadaga asked.
Bageya recently slammed the forum, saying the charter had no bearing on the Kyabazinga cultural institution.
