SIR—I wish to comment on an advertisement published on December 12 defending and praising Mr Richard Kaijuka.

Rosern Rwampororo and Nambi Rwampororo are apparently crying louder than the bereaved. The two blame the press for Kaijuka’s woes.

But it is the duty of the media to expose corruption wherever it exists or is suspected to. If Kaijuka feels the press is mudslinging him, why has he not bothered to sue as he sued the Uganda confidential?

He did actually threaten to sue but he seems to be taking his time.
Who is interested in what Kaijuka’s children are doing and what have their jobs got to do with the accusations their father faces? Those who unearthed the scandal are not fools.
