THERE was confusion at Makerere University when a man masquerading as a student was caught by a police officer after confusing courses and registration numbers.

The whole saga started when Samuel visited a certain police constable’s home to woo his daughter, and upon reaching there he bumped into her father and unknowingly asked for Annette.

Of course Annette’s dad wanted to know who this man was. “I’m Samuel a student of Bachelor of Arts in Education of Social Sciences doing Mass Communication as a Major,” he stuttered.

The constable was surprised at the mix up of courses and went on to ask for his registration number. “My registration number is 1007/92/Makerere University,”he lied.

When he finally asked for his identity card, Samuel presented a University police letter alleging that he had lost his ID and a friend had got a letter to explain his situation.

Samuel was arrested by police.
