By James Lwanga in ZanzibarSC Villa are on the verge of being thrown out of the CECAFA Club Championship due to FUFA's failure to pay Uganda's membership fee of $200(sh340,000).The Ugandans, together with Tusker, Simba, Oserian, Prince Louis, Mlandege and Forodha were also ordered to pay a participation fee of $200 or risk being sent away from the tournament. However, Villa team leader Kevin Aliro was not ruffled by the threats.“If FUFA fails to pay, then we pack our bags and go back home. We even came here without a FUFA representative. We can only consider paying that money if FUFA gives us a written commitment that they will give us a refund,” he said.Aliro had no kind words for his team either for what he called a below par performance in their opening match against Mlandege on Saturday.“I made it clear to the players that the kind of game they displayed was unacceptable. We had all the chances to win the game but there was an element of selfishness.”TodayTusker vs Prince Louis 4.30pmMlandege vs APR 8.00pmGROUP A-Mlandege,Villa, Electricity, APR, Oserian.GROUP B - Forodha, Tusker, Elman, Simba, Prince Louis.ends
