Simon Woods from Kenya completed a 1-2 finish for the guest sailors with Uganda’s Stephen Luswata salvaging some pride for the local sailors by finishing third.“What do you want me to say. I didn’t expect to win this event,” Bush said after the race. “It has been sheer luck, the fleet was very strong and the quality of laser sailors has tremendously improved.” The two-day regatta that comprised seven races was sponsored by South African Airways.
