Kareeba is UGU captain

Kareeba beat Fred Opio by 14 votes in a hot race at the UGC assembly at Kitante Thursday night.Kareeba polled 96 votes while Opio gathered 82 in the assembly that had a big turnout. Out going captain Sam Zaramba did not seek re-election.In the other interesting contest A.R Rutta trounced out of favour Patrick Malupolle gathered 89 votes while Malungu managed only 66.ends
