SIR—The tenants and all interested parties of National Housing were made to believe that the NHCC was set and that the process of the sale of flats would start as soon as the condominium property law (CPL) was passed by Parliament. Now the CPL has been on the statute books for over a year and the proverbial ball has been in the NHCC’s court since. Instead the NHCC seems to have developed cold feet and reneged on its earlier commitment to sell. There are rumours that NHCC is frantically searching for a single strategic buyer with whom they can have a quick transaction across the table. This as opposed to the long spread-out period of instalment payments proposed for sitting tenants by the CPL!Surely the NHCC owes its tenants an explanation for the delay. Name withheld on request
