KAMPALA — The High Court sitting at Nakawa has sentenced a man to seven years in jail for defiling an eight-year-old minor.
KAMPALA — The High Court sitting at Nakawa has sentenced a man to seven years in jail for defiling an eight-year-old minor. Justice Caroline Atima Okello sentenced John Opendi, 41, of Jimbo Kiyini village, Mukono district, after prosecution proved him guilty. Opendi formerly the husband of the victim’s aunt, defiled the victim while her aunt was away on a visit in February 1999.Ends
