By Hillary KiiryaLIEUTENANT Mulindwa Birimumaaso refused to account for sh24m, court heard yesterday.A witness told court that Birimumaaso refused to account for the money when he was the mass mobilisation director at the Movement Secretariat.The secretariat had reportedly given the money to Birimumaaso for mass mobilisation in the war torn regions of Bundibugyo district.Mohammed Kezaala, former Permanent Secretary at the secretariat told Buganda Road Court chief magistrate Frank Nigel Othiembi that he requisitioned for sh24m which was given to Birimumaaso, who did not use it for what it was meant for.He said he asked Birimumaaso to account but he refused, saying he would account to the Auditor General which he did not do.Ends
