Directorate of Water Development Support to New Rural Water Supply and Sanitation ProjectInvitation for Bids1. The Government of the Republic of Uganda has earmarked funds towards the cost of Support to New Rural Towns Water and Sanitation Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments in financing the supervision of construction of the Nakasongola and Bombo Town Supply and Sanitation Schemes. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries and bidders are free to submit proposals for one or both towns.2. The Ministry of Water, Lands and Environment of P.O. Box 7096, Kampala, invites sealed technical and financial proposals from eligible firms for the construction supervision of the Nakasongola and Bombo Town Water Supply Systems.Works consist of:Laying of transmission pumping mainsErecting steel service reservoirsLaying of distribution system of various sizesConstruction of public standpipes and house connections.3.
