By Raynel Kanyambu BWERANYANGI Girls Secondary School, in Bushenyi district on Thursday suspended 13 born-again students for persistently spending time in fellowship instead of attending the morning and evening preps. A source told the New Vision that the students who are mainly in S.6 and S.4, were expected to report to the school with their parents before the end of the month. “They would go to the chapel every morning and make noise while others were in prep. They were warned but they persisted,” the source said. The suspension comes a week after Mt. St. Mary’s Namagunga, a catholic school, suspended the same number of students for the same reason. The deputy headmistress, Erina Musoke, refused to comment on the situation, while the headmistress, Ruth Sande, was not available for comment. The source said the school does not discriminate against born- again students and added that they should not break school rules.Ends
