THE former Mawogola Parliamentary candidate in Sembabule District, Bashabe Turyatemba slapped a reporter for the Masaka-based Buddu Broadcasting Service (BBS) FM for refusing to replay his speech on which he had openly defamed the Vice President Speciosa Wandera.Turyatemba, whose academic qualifications were stolen from him as he was heading for Parliamentary nominations at the district headquarters, requested for the reporter, identified as Sadab Kitata, to replay the tape on which he had testified before the Parliamentary committee probing the alleged election malpractices and violence in Sembabule, but he ignored him.Turyatemba shocked the Parliamentary committee on March 18 chaired by Omoro county MP Jacob Oulanyah when he said that Mrs Kazibwe should resign over her marital statements about her husband.Turyatemba who kept the house on its toes said Mrs Kazibwe caused great shame to her personality and office by exposing her personal problems with her husband. Turyatemba also attacked MPs who he accused of being behind the theft of his papers.ends
