Thugs Kill SRPS Men

TWO Special Revenue Protection Services (SRPS) personnel were shot dead on Monday night in Koitangiro village, Mella sub-county on the Malaba-Kwapa road.Paul Okaramedo reports that the Police said the incident took place at about 9:00 pm. They said four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.They identified three of the suspects as Ekituna Omune, Elias Osikol and Okware.Malaba SRPS in-charge Koryang Lopera said four officers had been deployed on patrol when they were ambushed.Lopera said during the exchange of fire, two SRPS personnel identified as Abdu and a military police officer, whose name could not be easily established, were killed.He said the thugs made off with a rifle, a pistol and a mobile phone.Ends
