Ali Wants Libraries Set In Adjumani District

THE second deputy Prime Minister and minister for disaster preparedness and refugees, Brig. Moses Ali, has asked Adjumani district council to create a library for the councillors.

Moses Ali, has asked Adjumani district council to create a library for the councillors.Ali, who is also the area MP, made the call while officiating at the swearing-in ceremony of the Adjumani LC5 chairman, Mr. Nixon Owole and his 11 councillors at the district headquarters recently.“For councillors to be informed, you should create two rooms to act as a library in the administration block so that you acquaint yourselves with relevant laws and other issues. This will keep you in touch with the current issues rather than asking them from other people,” Ali said.He advised the councillors to work together to develop Adjumani district.Ali also appealed to them to support the policy of self reliance strategy being implemented by the United Nations Human Rights Commission for Refugees.Ends
