PAUL Sigombe was elected Vice President of the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) during the Annual General Assembly in Cameroon on Wednesday.

By Vision Reporter PAUL Sigombe was elected Vice President of the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) during the Annual General Assembly in Cameroon on Wednesday.Sigombe, also chairman Uganda Rugby Football Union (URFU), replaced Kenyan based George Karioki in hotly contested elections.Sigombe becomes the first Ugandan to be elected on the Africa rugby governing body and he will serve a two years term.Ends
