A UGANDAN Member of Parliament in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Sheila Kawamara (pictured right), has asked the governments of Kenya and Tanzania to observe women emancipation to Uganda’s level.

By Kiganda Ssonko A UGANDAN Member of Parliament in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Sheila Kawamara (pictured right), has asked the governments of Kenya and Tanzania to observe women emancipation to Uganda’s level.She was addressing Makerere university students from Kashaari county at a party held at Makerere Business Institute, over the weekend.“Considering that women are not highly recognised politically as they are in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania must emulate our example if we are to move together in gender development, as a region,” Kawamara said.
