French Envoy Confident

By Norman KatendeTHE French ambassador to Uganda, Jean Bernard Thiant believes France’s all-round abilities have declined, but they are still top contenders with Italy and Argentina at the World Cup.The former French University international goalkeeper who also played with French third division side Tours, said that France’s game has declined in defence but the attack has improved.He said Zinedine Zidane’s injury was a blow but the likes of David Trezeguet will step into his shoes.“Zidane is important.
