Kikomeko denied bail

KAMPALA — Attempts by Capt. Yasin Kikomeko to be released from prison hit a dead end yesterday after court refused to grant him bail. Buganda Road Court Magistrate Vincent Emmy Mugabo said Kikomeko could not be released because he is a stubborn person who does not follow court orders. Kikomeko had asked for bail, saying the criminal summons court claims had served him did not reach him. But Mugabo insisted that Kikomeko was aware of the summons through his correspondents but he refused to comply.Ends
