By Norman Katende THE highly billed Police - Express encounter, which was slated for Monday, has been put off after a FUFA emergency committee resolution. The committee which met at Nakulabye yesterday ruled that all clubs with more than four players in the U-20 camp should have their league matches postponed. Those with less than four will be allowed to pick their players only on the day of the match. Only Police was effected with the ruling.“This takes effect starting tomorrow (today). We want to give these boys more time for training,” said FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda while addressing the weekly Nile Special Super League press conference at Lugogo yesterday. The U-20 takes on their Egyptian counterpart at Alexandria on July 20.The committee also ruled that all players who fail to report for national duty will be suspended from all local competitions indefinitely. “Their slow reaction to national call has contributed to the poor performances,” he said.Meanwhile, FUFA has confirmed that Cranes will play build-up match in Algeria on September 24 and hold a two-weeks training camp in Libya towards the end of August.
