There was drama at Kigorobya Muslim Primary School in Hoima district recently, when the newly appointed town council executive members failed to take oath in English, reports Amlan Tumusiime.The councillors, excluding the speaker fumbled in vain to pronounce the words on the paper containing the oath during the function presided over by the town clerk, Fred Tinka.On realising the problem, Tinka asked the councillors to repeat the words after him but still they failed. Sources said the council only used the the Runyoro and Lungugu languages during council sessions. Ends
