THE World Food Programme (WFP) deputy country director, Edward Kallon, has promised that his organisation will rehabilitate the dilapidated Moyo Hospital.

As for schools, I still need figures of refugee-related problems,” Kallon told Moyo district authorities recently at a meeting attended by the Japanese Charge d’Affairs, Miki Tatsuya, in Moyo.Kallon was responding to a request by the Moyo LC5 chairman Peter Dollo Iku that the Japanese government should complete rehabilitation of Moyo hospital. Miki Tatsuya accepted the requisition. “Moyo hospital needs complete rehabilitation. sewage system needs replacement. The operating theatre is leaking. That is how bad the situation in the hospital is,” said Iku. Ends
