By George Bita in IgangaIGANGA LC5 chairman Asuman Kyafu has said he will soon organise chakamchaka, cadreship courses, for all district department heads in a bid to make them become conscious of good time management.“It cannot be in order for you officials to arrive late at functions when actually circulars were handed out weeks in advance that a particular meeting is scheduled to take place,” Kyafu told the officials recently said.He said “it is very annoying when an official staying within the vicinity of Iganga town comes to attend a seminar when the guest of honour who travelled from miles away is already seated or in certain instances has finished opening the event”.Kyafu was opening a workshop organised by the directorate of district health services on Wednesday aimed at selecting health sub-districts for Africa Youth Alliance activities on HIV/AIDS prevention. He said the district health department should work with vigour to boost the efforts initiated by AYA-Uganda project. He said poverty was fuelling the spread of HIV/AIDS in the community, citing an example of how a shopkeeper allegedly impregnated seven girls of Nasuuti Primary School just because he was buying them knickers.
