By Norman KatendeWITH Express coach Jimmy Muguwa in hospital, his assistant freshly sacked and technical director Abdul Kadir banned, the club’s boss Godfrey Kirumira may find himself in charge at the bench.Club chairman Kirumira however insisted there was no crisis as they have so many capable hands to handle the team during matches.“Kadir is training the players and they are picking up. He is only not allowed on the technical bench,” said Kirumira when contacted for comment yesterday. To Kirumira, having or not having a coach directly at the technical bench does not effect the team’s performance.“He (Kadir) is allowed in the pavilion and it is from there that he sends out instruction to the people on the technical bench. Muguwa will be okay. We expect him to recover soon, at least by our next match.“Our next match is in three weeks time and I think he will be ready to take to the bench. There is no immediate plan of getting another coach.”Muguwa was injured after his Toyota Corolla registered no UAD 178M rammed into a Mercedes Benz UAB 958U/UAB 993U on Tuesday afternoon at Bweyogerere. He was treated at Apex Clinic before being transferred to Mulago hospital. His condition was improving. He however had chest and limb injuries according to a medical check up carried out in the intensive unit.Ends
